In order to encourage artistic creation of members of Literature, Fine Art, Music, and Theater · Film · Dance Divisions and expand opportunities for national culture, The NAA has been held various regular events.

The NAA has been holding a seminar every year since 1968. In the seminar, NAA members discuss the current issues and major policies of the Korean literary and art world so as to resolve the issues and improve the policies.

The NAA participates in various international arts conferences and events in order to understand the trends of the international art world and introduce Korean arts to the world. The NAA has been making efforts to contribute to promoting international exchange.

In Accordance with Article 12 (Support of Artistic Creative Activities) of the National Academy of Arts Republic of Korea Act, the NAA helps senior writers and artists focus on their artistic and creative activities (writing, performance, display, etc.) and contributes to the development of arts. The NAA provides 80 million won to Literature, Fine Art, Music, and Theater · Film · Dance Divisions.

Since 1982, NAA members have been giving lectures to citizens every year in order to draw their interest in arts, help them understand works of art, and contribute to the development of local arts. Lectures are delivered between April and October at cultural centers, museums, libraries, etc.
